Six Inducted Into Country Radio HOF
• Six celebrated broadcasters will join the Country Radio Hall of Fame in 2019, as recording artists Dan + Shay revealed this year’s inductees on Wednesday during the opening ceremonies for Country Radio Seminar (CRS 2019).
The Country Radio Hall of Fame Class of 2019 includes four off-air broadcasters and two on-air personalities . Now, let’s meet your 2019 honorees — (top row, left to right): Mac Daniels (KPLX & KSCS/Dallas), Bobby Denton (WIVK/Knoxville), Jeff Garrison of KCYY (Y100)/San Antonio and Gregg Lindahl, formerly of Cox Media Group, now Managing Director of Lindahl Interregnum.
In the Air Personality category, this year’s inductees are SiriusXM personalities Charlie Monk and Kyle Cantrell.
The Country Radio Hall of Fame is dedicated to the recognition of those individuals who have made significant contributions to the radio industry over a 20-year period, 15 of which must be in the Country format. The Country Radio Hall of Fame Induction and Dinner will be held in Nashville on Wednesday, June 19, at a location TBA.
