Jacobs Joins Arista Records
• The John Boulos Employment Emporium™ remains wide open for business — the latest industry pro slated to join EVP of Promotion John Boulos at Arista Records is Jonathan Jacobs, who will soon join the recently relaunched label as Southeast Manager, based in Miami. Jacobs was most recently National Director Pop Promotion for Glassnote Records, and prior to that he spent nine years with Republic Records as Southeast Promotion Manager.

• The hire of Jacobs marks Boulos’ second major acquisition in as many weeks — we recently reported that Chandler Chruma has been named as Arista’s new West Coast Manager, based in Los Angeles. Ms. Chruma, who is currently Northeast/Mid-Atlantic Regional Promotion Manager for In2une Music, previously spent three years working with Boulos at Roadrunner and Atlantic Records.
