• We want to take this moment to send our most sincere best wishes to our New England pal AJ Dukette, Brand Manager of Townsquare Media Top 40 WJBQ (Q97.9) and Brand Manager/morning host on AC WHOM/Portland, ME, who got himself engaged to his girlfriend Kathleen Jordan this weekend in a very public setting — on the field before a Portland Sea Dogs’ game. [Ed. note: The Sea Dogs are the AA affiliate of the reigning World Series Champion Boston Red Sox. Thank you.]

Ms. Jordan is a news anchor/reporter at WMTW-TV/Portland, a.k.a. “a local television station,” and the happy couple met in 2017 while they were co-hosting a charity event. Dukette let us in on how he arranged for the surprise proposal, telling RAMP, “I worked with some great people within the Sea Dogs organization to arrange for us throw the first pitch, and have the Bruno Mars‘ song “Marry You” cued up to play when I got down on one knee. WMTW was also there to cover it.”

Thankfully, there was zero suspense here — as you can clearly ascertain from this action photo sequence, Kathleen 1) was definitely surprised, and 2) immediately said YES.
