• Beasley Alternative WBOS (ALT 92.9)/Boston has a prime opening for an afternoon drive personality. You will be connecting with Boston’s Alternative fans on the air, on video, and on social media every day. This is a full-time position for an experienced candidate with beyond entry-level ability.
Applicants must have a minimum of five years of on-air experience, some in the Alternative format; a passion for new music and artists; strong interviewing skills and the ability to connect with new and established artists on-air, on video and at live events in front of an audience. You must also possess strong social media, writing and editing skills and experience with blog platforms such as WordPress; audio editing ability (Adobe Audition, Sound Forge, Pro Tools, Vox Pro, etc.), and are able to write, voice, and produce commercial, promo, and/or live on-air copy.
ALT 92.9 is looking for a true team player that can take direction and can understand and advance a plan and work closely with programming, sales and digital departments.
