Kelly Bound For Cowboys’ Country
Prior to his arrival in Indianapolis last August, Kelly programmed Cumulus Top 40 WABD/Mobile, AL, and his radio resume contains earlier stops at KSLZ/St. Louis, WRVQ/Richmond, WVKS/Toledo, KKRD/Wichita, WAJI/Fort Wayne and WYOK/Mobile.
In making the announcement, Dan Bennett, Regional Vice President, Cumulus Dallas & Houston, said, “We are excited to have Sid Kelly join our cluster in Dallas to lead our top 40, Hot 93.3. Sid has done a great job for our company leading Energy 93.9 in Indianapolis. The HOT opportunity is a logical next step in his career to come to a Top 5 market and make great things happen for Cumulus in Dallas.”
A clearly excited Kelly commented, “This is an unbelievable opportunity and I’m thrilled to be able to grow even more with Cumulus by joining the team in Dallas. I’m looking forward to working hard to increase Hot 93.3’s brand and grow the audience. This move wouldn’t have been possible without the guidance and trust of Christopher “Boomer” Layfield, Mike McVay and Doug Hamand. My dog ‘Gibbs‘ and I both look forward to hiding the fact that we are big Redskins fans in the heart of Cowboys’ country. Let’s go!”
