Brody Wakes Up At WMTX/Tampa
• A familiar face just walked through the studio door at iHeartMedia Hot AC WMTX (Mix 100.7)/Tampa — a man known simply as “Brody” is the new co-host of The Mix Morning Show With Laura Diaz, starting May 6. Brody, already knows his way around the building, as he formerly did nights right down the hall on Top 40 sister WFLZ. Diaz transferred to Mix 100.7 in December 2018 after seven years as morning co-host on sister WXXL (XL106.7)/Orlando.
“It was fate to run into Brody in Tampa,” said Diaz. “I’m beyond excited to have him on my team and shake things up. Having Brody by my side will give our listeners even more laughs and add to a great Tampa morning kick-start.”

Brody, a native of nearby New Port Richey, FL, started his radio career as morning show producer at Clear Channel Top 40 WFKS/Jacksonville back in the day and later worked at WJHM (102 Jamz)/Orlando, WKSS (Kiss 95.7)/Hartford and WXXL (XL106.7)/Orlando. He did nights for a year on Alpha Media Country KUPL (98.7 The Bull)/Portland, OR before joining WFLZ in April 2014.
