Live! From Sedalia! It’s Rob Creighton!
• Rob Creighton is back in the programming saddle, as it were, as the new Operations Manager for Townsquare Media’s cluster in Sedalia, MO — Country KXKX (Kix 105.7), Classic Hits KSDL (Awesome 92.3) and News-Talk KSIS-AM 1050. He replaces Kurt Parsons, who left for a job in another industry.
The move marks a return to active duty for Townsquare for Creighton (left), who was most recently Operations Manager of the company’s five-station Quad Cities cluster and afternoon personality on Classic Hits KIIK until March of this year.
Creighton’s radio career has taken him from Waukegan, Urbana and Joliet, IL to Lafayette, IN, followed by six years in Lubbock, TX, where he helped launch Classic Hits KLBB (93.7 The Eagle) for Ramar Communications.
When introducing Creighton to the staff, Sedalia Market President James Black said, “Rob’s been married to his wife Kathy for 15 years and they’re the proud parents of a rescued Greyhound named JJ. Rob roots for the Cubs, doesn’t put ketchup on hot dogs and never met a pizza he didn’t like.” Creighton commented, “I’d like to thank Townsquare’s Regional VP Kelly Quinn, SVP of Programming Kurt Johnson, Director of Product Development JB Wilde and James Black for this opportunity. I’m excited to be creating great radio in Sedalia with them!”
