West Books Middays @ WNEW/NYC
• Entercom makes it official and formally names Emily West as the new permanent midday personality on Hot AC WNEW (NEW 102.7 FM)/New York. West joined Entercom in 2017 and has served as a fill-in on-air personality for NEW 102.7 FM and Classic Hits sister WCBS-FM, and as a fill-in traffic reporter for sister WCBS-AM. She has been ably handling the WNEW midday show since Shannon Holly left in March.
“Emily has held various roles and done an exceptional job for our collection of New York stations,” said Susan Larkin, Regional President and Market Manager, Entercom New York. “We’re thrilled to have her on board at WNEW hosting her own show, featuring shorter commercial breaks to better spotlight our advertisers and offering an improved listening experience for our audience.”

Prior to joining Entercom, West worked for iHeartMedia in Chicago and Atlanta, as well as News 12 Networks and Spectrum News NY1 in New York. She currently serves as a fill-in traffic reporter for WNBC-TV/New York.
