Bennett Upped To APD/PM Drive At KMYI

• UPDATED: iHeartMedia Hot AC KMYI (Star 94.1)/San Diego promotes from within and upgrades morning co-host Delana Bennett to APD and names her as the station’s new afternoon drive talent, effective September 3. She succeeds current PM driver Shelley Wade, who exits at the end of her contract.

Bennett has been a familiar voice in San Diego radio for almost 20 years, and has co-hosted Jesse Lozano in the Morningon Star 94.1 since July 2012. Prior to that, Bennett co-hosted the Greg & Delana Show on XHRM/San Diego and was a member of the legendary Jeff and Jer Showgram. Bennett is a Florida native who graduated from the University of Florida and began her radio career at WRUF/Gainesville.
