Now Entering Atlanta: JJ Kincaid

• It’s now Day Two of what has come to be known as “The JJ Kincaid Situation” in Atlanta, and we are still awaiting some clarification. While no one is formally commenting — yet — we can tell you that JJ cracked the mic at 11am Wednesday at Cumulus Top 40 WWWQ (Q99.7).

Alert observers noted that JJ stayed on the air for an hour, played the hits, took calls, and introduced himself to the Atlanta market… oh, and he also gave away $100 every nine minutes, so there’s that. And then, at the stroke of noon he was gone, like he was never there… except for the pile of cash he gave away…

So, what’s the deal, anyway? Will we hear JJ again soon? Does he have access to more petty cash? What the heck is going on? We are expecting some additional details very soon. You are advised to stay tuned to RAMP for further updates.
