SVPP Stripes For Ohio’s Chris Kelly
• Ohio radio pro Chris Kelly has joined iHeartMedia Mansfield-Ashland, OH as Senior Vice President of Programming for the cluster that includes Top 40 WYHT (Y105), Classic Hits WSWR (My 100.1), Classic Rock WFXN (102.3 The Fox), Country WNCO-FM, News-Talk WMAN-AM/FM, Sports-Talk WNCO-AM, and WXXF-FM, which is currently stunting as “Christmas 107.7.” He will handle day-to-day programming duties for My 100.1 and whatever Christmas 107.7 ends up as after the holidays.
In this newly created position, Kelly reports to Keith Kennedy, Area SVP of Programming for iHeartMedia’s North Ohio Region.
To commute to his new job, Kelly looks both ways, and then crosses the street from the OM post at Johnny Appleseed Broadcasting AC WVNO (Mix 106.1). Kelly’s previous radio stops, primarily in Ohio, include Kenton, Bellefontaine, Lima, Columbus and Mansfield, along with additional gigs in Rockford, IL and Johnstown, PA.
