Usher To Host iHeartRadio Music Awards
• Fresh off of his amazing Prince tribute on Sunday’s 62nd Grammy Awards, iHeartMedia and FOX Entertainment announced that eight-time Grammy winner Usher will host and perform on the 2020 iHeartRadio Music Awards. The event will also feature live performances from Halsey and Lizzo, along with previously announced Justin Bieber, with more TBA.
The two-hour event will air live from the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles on Sunday, March 29, live from 8-10pm ET/tape-delayed PT) on FOX. The seventh annual iHeartRadio Music Awards will also stream live on iHeartMedia radio stations nationwide and on iHeartRadio. “I’m so excited to host the 2020 iHeartRadio Music Awards and help celebrate the music that I and millions of other music lovers listened to this past year,” said Usher. “It’ll be like hanging out with old friends.”
Nominees for the 2020 iHeartRadio Music Awards were announced on January 8. Artists receiving multiple nominations include Cardi B, J Balvin, Bad Bunny, Justin Bieber, Camila Cabello, Luke Combs, Daddy Yankee, Dan + Shay, Drake, Billie Eilish, El Fantasma, Selena Gomez, Ariana Grande, Halsey, Jonas Brothers, Khalid, Kygo, Lil Nas X, Lizzo, Post Malone, Shawn Mendes, Maren Morris, SHAED, Ed Sheeran, Snow, Taylor Swift and Summer Walker.
