Promotion Coalition Announces Beneficiaries

• Earlier this month we told you about the launch of The Promotion Coalition (TPC), an anonymous alliance of promotion people spanning all formats and musical genres who are committed to long-term action against racism and social injustice. To that end, the organization established a GoFundMe page to aid in their inaugural fundraising campaign to positively help Anti-Racism and Black community-supportive initiatives and organizations. At press time, the fund had collected over $65,000, well on its way to its stated goal of $100,000.

Last Friday afternoon we received an update from the TPC’s Gifting Committee, which read, “After thoughtful vetting & consideration across the eight people involved in the selection process, we can announce our fundraising efforts will benefit the following organizations equally: Black Voters Matter Fund, Black Youth Vote!, Color of Change and the Southern Poverty Law Center. Updates on matching programs will follow soon.
