Q102/Cincy Names Freddy Mac PM Co-Host

• Hubbard Radio’s WKRQ (Q102)/Cincinnati just doubled the cast of its afternoon drive show with the addition of Freddy Mac, who this week plugs in across from existing host Natalie Jones.

Mac is inbound from Roanoke, VA, where he spent the past eight years with Mel Wheeler Top 40 WXLK (K92), working his way up through the ranks from promotions to Imaging Director and on-air personality.

In making the big announcement, Q102 PD Patti Marshall said, “I’m so happy to add Freddy’s positive energy to the team. He and Natalie will make the afternoon drive home entertaining!” Hubbard Radio Cincinnati VP/Market Manager Mike Fredrick seconds that emotion, adding, “We’re very excited to bring Freddy’s authentic and upbeat personality to the Tri-State’s drive home. He and Natalie will be a great team!”

Mac exclaimed, “I’m honored and excited to be a part of the winning team at Cincinnati’s Q102, and to work alongside Natalie Jones. Thank you to Patti Marshall, Mike Fredrick, and Hubbard Broadcasting for making me a part of the family!” Freddy Mac and Natalie Jones will do their first show together this Thursday, September 24, but Freddy will be introducing himself to the market ahead of time by making on-air visits to all the Q102 personalities this week.
