Townsquare Flint Wakes Up Differently

• Townsquare Media just launched two new morning shows within its Flint, MI group — the action starts on AC WCRZ (Cars 108), where Clay Church crosses the hall from mornings on Rhythmic sibling WRCL (Club 93.7) and is joined by current Cars 108 afternoon drive host, Lisa Marie. At the same time, Brandan “B-Ray” Jamison is upped from part-time to mornings on Club 93.7.

Church (left) is a 20-year market vet who has served as Director of Content at TSM Flint for the last seven years. Lisa Marie (center) is a Flint native who returns to mornings on Cars 108 after two years in afternoon drive. At the same time, market legend George McIntyre moves up from middays to afternoons on Cars 108.

Kurt Johnson, Townsquare SVP of Programming, commented, “Clay and Lisa are local favorites, and having them together on Cars 108 mornings is an exciting new chapter for this legendary station.” This newly minted partnership succeeds married morning duo Pat and Jennifer “AJ” Clark, who exited last month.

Church said, “I’m proud to have the opportunity to continue serving the Flint market. Cars is a perennial leader in Flint radio, and I hope to continue that tradition.” Lisa Marie commented, “I’m so excited for this new chapter, and looking forward to being a part of the legendary Cars 108 morning show, and waking up with the listeners, alongside Clay.”

Jamison (left), who has served as a part-time air talent on Club 93.7 for the last decade, said, “I’m grateful for the chance to represent the city I was born and raised in, and can’t wait to bring The Get Up to Club 93.7.” Townsquare Flint Market President Kristine Sikkema added, “We are excited to keep Flint live and local with great talent that share an undeniable passion for Flint.”
