Urban One Names Three VPs Of Radio

• Urban One has elevated three current Market Managers — Daniel Abercrombie, Kimberly Kyle and Ezio Torres — to the newly enhanced position of Vice President, Radio.

Abercrombie oversees the company’s Cincinnati market, which includes Hip-Hop/R&B WIZF (The Wiz 101.1), Adult R&B WOSL (100.3) and Talk WDBZ-AM (101.5/1230 The Buzz). Ms. Kyle is Station Manager for Radio One Columbus, OH, overseeing Hip-Hop/R&B WCKX (Power 107.5), Adult R&B WXMG (Magic 95.5) and Inspirational WJYD (Joy 107.1), and Torres is currently General Manager of R&B Oldies WPPZ (Classix 107.9) and Hip-Hop/R&B WRNB/Philadelphia.

In a staff memo announcing the upgrades, Urban One Radio Division CEO David Kantor said, “Dan, Kim, and Ezio earned the promotion to Vice President with their strong management capabilities, especially in 2020.
