Appleton Named CMO Of Jaxsta
• Jaxsta Limited, billed as “the world’s largest public-facing, dedicated database of official music credits,” announced the appointment of Beth Appleton as its new Chief Marketing Officer. Appleton will be based in the company’s Sydney, Australia HQ beginning Monday, July 12 and will be tasked with developing and driving Jaxsta’s ongoing marketing strategy as it returns to a paid service on July 27.
Appleton (left) is a 25-year music industry pro who most recently served as GM & SVP Marketing, Australasia for Warner Music Australia. Her previous roles include SVP of Global Marketing at Warner Music Group in the UK (2014-2018); Director of Marketing, Warner Music Australia (2011-2013); Director of Digital, UMG in the UK (2007-2010); and Head of Digital & Business Development at V2 Music in the UK (2003-2007).
