Taylor Drives Colorado Springs Home

• Cumulus has tapped Brian Taylor as the new afternoon drive talent for KATC (CAT Country 95.1)/Colorado Springs, CO.

Taylor (left), a Colorado Springs resident, is a 20-year Country radio pro who has been an on-air talent for Westwood One since 2019. Prior to that, he was CEO of digital content company Hillbilly Live and worked for Bonneville Country KYGO/Denver. Taylor is also a familiar name to local radio listeners, having previously been on the air across the street for iHeartMedia from 2012-18. Earlier in his career Taylor worked for Country KBXB-FM/Sikeston-Cape Girardeau, MO.

Bo Jaxson, PD of CAT Country 95.1 exclaimed, “We are so excited to have this true cowboy join our CAT Country family! Between the hats, guitars, whiskey and dogs, he’s going to be the perfect fit for afternoons on CAT Country!” No less excited is Taylor, who commented, “I love Colorado Springs! This city is home for me and has been for almost ten years now. I grew up listening to Country radio, and radio is something I’ve always loved. It’s the original social media platform to me.
