Bonadonna Takes Command Of WZZO
• iHeartMedia Classic Rock WZZO (95.1 ZZO)/Allentown, PA has tapped the talents of legendary major market rock programmer Joe Bonadonna as the station’s new Program Director and afternoon drive personality, reporting to Craig Stevens, SVP of Programming for iHeartMedia Allentown.
Bonadonna certainly well known and loved in Southeast Pennsylvania, best known for his 22-year run at WMMR/Philadelphia. Earlier stops include NewsRadio WHAM 1180 & WAIO (Radio 95.1)/Rochester, NY, WKGB/Binghamton, NY, WBGG/Miami, SiriusXM and Sandusky Broadcasting. He began his career at WLIR-FM/Long Island.
Along with his new Allentown position, Bonadonna will continue to work with iHeart’s National Programming Group on many of the company’s classic rock brands. “There are few names more legendary in rock radio than Joe Bonadonna,” said Jeff Hurley, EVP of Programming for iHeartMedia’s National Programming Group. “Pairing Joe’s incredible programming experience with 95.1 ZZO’s 40+ years of rocking the Lehigh Valley is a match made in heaven.”
