The Boss Ready To Raise Some Cane
• Robby Bridges continues to build a heavyweight team at Press Communications’ Classic Rock WWZY/WBHX (107-1 The Boss)/Monmouth Ocean with the addition of NYC radio pro Cane Peterson, who signs on to light up nights and weekends.
Cane (left) has been heard in Market No. 1 for over 20 years on Z100, WXRK (92.3 K-Rock), WNEW (Fresh 102.7), and most recently, mornings on Audacy’s WNYL (ALT 92.3). He continues to host the Cane & Corey Show podcast. Cane also spent six years at SiriusXM’s Octane, The Boneyard, and Alt Nation. As a television host, Cane fronted The Rock Show and Top 20 Countdown on VH1, and Cold Pizza on ESPN2. He’s also a part-time actor, most notably playing Carrie Bradshaw‘s love interest, Wade “Power Lad” Adams, during Season 3 of Sex and The City.
“I’ve been a fan of Cane’s work on radio and on screen for years,” said Bridges. “He’s a great fit for the high-energy, personality-driven content we are creating on the air at 107-1 The Boss.” No less thrilled is Cane, who said, “Excited to join friends at 107.1 Boss to do some real radio! Robby is a programmer who just gets it. He knows talent is the difference-maker, and he believes in being live and local! Crazy, right? So thank you Robby for bringing me to the Jersey Shore, and let’s have some damn fun!”
