Pelsor Held Over At WTTS/Indy
• There’s free cake in the break room at Sarkes Tarzian Triple A WTTS/Indianapolis to celebrate the company’s signing of morning host Matt Pelsor to sweet new long-term contract, keeping him hanging around the hallways of independently owned-and-operated station for years to come.
An Indianapolis native, Pelsor joined WTTS in January 2021 following a five-year stint with Indiana Public Radio’s WFYI, and an earlier run with iHeartMedia’s WFBQ (Q95) and the former WRZX.
As the ink was drying, WTTS PD Lenny Diana said, “To be able to have Matt starting the day greeting and connecting with WTTS listeners has been a pleasure to listen to. We couldn’t be more excited about what’s ahead.” Diana then handed the mic to Brad Holtz, WTTS President/GM, who commented, “Matt is the consummate pro, delivering a unique and memorable listening experience each and every day. We are thrilled to have him on our team for many years to come.”
And for his part, Pelsor remarked, “I’m so fortunate to work for this company, these people, and for music fans in Indy. Independent radio is alive and well, and I’m proud to be a part of it.”
