Aubrey Elevated @ X103.9/Colorado Springs

• Bahakel Communications’ Alternative KRXP (X103.9)/Colorado Springs announces the elevation of midday personality Aubrey Bishop to Promotions Director. It’s yet another move up the ladder for Bishop (left), who joined the Bahakel team some 18 months ago and has quickly proven she’s a major talent in the company and in the Colorado Springs market.

Bishop started attending Pikes Peak Community College while still in high school and enrolled in an AVP program. While there she discovered a true passion for radio and began to learn broadcasting at the college radio station, 89.7 KEPC. She was later hired by Cumulus, and after five years joined X103.9 as night jock.

PD Shawn Lucero said, “It’s been exciting to watch Aubrey grow so much over the past year and a half with the X103.9/94.3 KILO team! She brings many skills including a natural grasp of promotions and digital arts. She’s also fantastic on air and on social media, and our listeners love her. She keeps X103.9’s midday mood so upbeat.
