Dillard Joins CMG As EVP, A&R
• Esteemed SALXCO artist manager and music industry executive Gordan Dillard has joined Capitol Music Group (CMG) as Executive Vice President of A&R & Artist Development. In his new position, Dillard will draw upon his broad experience to sign and develop artists for the company, as well as oversee recording projects for new and established artists spanning the CMG’s portfolio of labels.
Dillard will report CMG Chair & CEO Michelle Jubelirer, who remarked, “Gordan is an artist-first executive with impeccable taste, and I’m thrilled that he’s joined Capitol Music Group in such an important role. He’s a real team player and an ideal fit for my senior management team, and I know that everyone at our company joins me in welcoming Gordan to CMG.” Dillard is based at the Capitol Tower in Hollywood, and will also maintain a strong presence in New York.

Dillard began his career at Motown Records in 2009, working in the A&R department under Bruce Carboneand Sylvia Rhone for two years, before joining BET while simultaneously heading his own management company, The Untitled Group. Dillard scored a hit with Bryson Tiller, when “Exchange” reached #8 on the Billboard Hot R&B/Hip Hop chart in 2016 and garnered a Grammy nomination. In 2018, following 13 platinum certifications and three Grammy nominations under Untitled, Dillard moved to Los Angeles and started working for SALXCO.
