Meghan Lane: Free Agent
• After more than a decade as morning host at Cox Media Group’s legendary WAPE/Jacksonville, Meghan Lane exits as she approaches the end of her contract.
The Gracie Award-winning personality, who started her media career in that building back in the day, also hosted the Babecast podcast and spent several years across the hall on Alternative station WXXJ (X106.5) as an on-air personality and creative voiceover producer.
“Entertaining the audience is my passion and I am incredibly proud of the work that our team did on Meghan & Austen in the Morning,” said Lane. “Serving as the first female morning show lead in the history of the station was a dream come true and we worked tirelessly to develop a unique, creative product that made genuine connections with the North Florida community. I’m grateful for my time here and excited for the next chapter.”
