NAB Announces Crystal Award Winners
• UPDATED: As NAB Show continues from Las Vegas, the NAB announced the 10 winners of the 36th annual NAB Crystal Radio Awards.
Since 1987, the NAB Crystal Radio Awards have recognized radio stations for their exceptional year-round commitment to community service. The following 2023 NAB Crystal Radio Award recipients were chosen from 50 previously announced finalists — KBCO/Denver; KBXX/Houston; KCYY/San Antonio;KKHJ-FM/Pago Pago, American Samoa; KOSI/Denver; KSTP-FM/Minneapolis-St. Paul; WALR/Atlanta;WREW/Cincinnati; WTMJ-AM/Milwaukee and WUSL/Philadelphia.
NAB also presented Bonneville News-Talk KTAR-FM/Phoenix with the esteemed Crystal Heritage Award during the ceremony, recognizing the station for winning five Crystal Radio Awards. Ryan Hatch, SVP/Market Manager of Bonneville Phoenix accepted the award on behalf of the station.
The finalists were honored and winners were announced during the We Are Broadcasters celebration today at the 2023 NAB Show in Las Vegas. The winners were chosen by a panel of judges representing the broadcast industry, community service organizations and public relations firms.
• The NAB also announced preliminary registered attendance of 65,013 (including RAMP‘s Steve Resnik) for the 2023 NAB Show. That number includes 17,446 international attendees representing 166 countries, and 1,208 exhibiting companies. (All numbers are based on pre-show and onsite registration and subject to an ongoing audit).

NAB also announced that the next NAB Show will be held April 13-17, 2024, in Las Vegas.
