The Rock Now Sporting Woods
• Durham Radio Active Rock CKGE (94.9 The Rock)/Toronto is pretty damn pleased and proud to announce that they have retained the unique skillset of Jeff Woods, the iconic voice of Classic Rock Radio in Canada for more than 35 years, to host a new show, Classic Rock Sundays with Jeff Woods, starting July 23.
Woods is a former PD of CILQ (Q107)/Toronto and CFOX/Vancouver and has been on the air at CFBR (100.3 The Bear)/Edmonton and CFRQ (Q104)/Halifax, Nova Scotia, and will now bring his extensive experience as a programmer, musicologist, interviewer, writer, researcher and voice as a storyteller to the forefront to host this weekly-must listen afternoon event Sundays from noon to 6pm.
