• iHeartMedia Urban WMIB (103.5 The Beat)/Miami launches Papa Keith Live with Kimmy B in afternoon drive, teaming two popular Miami personalities.
When making the announcement of the new show, Abdul “DJ A-OH” Hashem, who doubles as PD of The Beat and iHeart VP of Hip Hop & R&B Programming Strategy, commented, “We are excited to announce Papa Keith Live with Kimmy B in afternoons on WMIB! Kimmy brings a well-respected voice, view, and talent to PK’s established legacy in the afternoons in the South Florida community. As PK’s co-host, Kimmy will also handle different elements of social media, content, and more for WMIB, and l can’t think of anyone more qualified to do so.”

Kimmy B has been a popular Miami drive-time personality for over twenty years. She grew up in Boston and started her radio career at CMG’s WEDR (99 Jamz) in 2004. In 2014 she was named co-host of the DJ Laz Morning Show on sister WFLC (Hits 97.3) and moved to afternoons in 2016. More recently Kimmy and DJ Laz did afternoon drive on iHeartMedia Hot AC WMIA (93.9 MIA). She’s also a podcast and TV host who has been working with the Miami Dolphins as host of Dolphins Today on Bally Sports.
