The Eagle Flies Again In DFW

• iHeartMedia Dallas-Ft. Worth announced the return of the legendary Active Rock station KEGL (97.1 The Eagle), effective immediately. It was October 2022 when the company made the decision to jettison Active Rock personality-driven “Hot Talk” as 97.1 The Freak.

“I’m excited that The Eagle is back and ready to rock Dallas/Ft. Worth again,” said Patrick Davis, Senior Vice President of Programming for Dallas/Ft. Worth. “This is a legendary brand for the market, and listeners have been asking to have it back on air and we listened!”
