Kevin Liles Leaving 300 Elektra

• In the latest executive departure at Warner Music Group, Kevin Liles, Chairman & CEO of 300 Elektra Entertainment (3EE), will leave the company at the end of the year, according to memos obtained by Variety.

The move follows the impending departures of Max Lousada, WMG CEO of Recorded Music, and Julie Greenwald, longtime co-Chair/COO of Atlantic Records and Chairman & CEO of Atlantic Music Group. Warner Music CEO Robert Kyncl has enlisted 10K Projects founder Elliot Grainge to replace Greenwald, with the label chiefs reporting directly to him.

Although Kyncl says in his memo that Liles will not be replaced, 300 executives Rayna Bass and Selim Bouab, who were named Co-Presidents in June 2022, will oversee the label; Liles will remain on board through the end of the year to assist with the transition.

Liles joined WMG in December 2021 after the company acquired his company, 300 Entertainment, which he co-founded with former Warner Recorded Music Chief Lyor Cohen, for $400 million.
