Jay Shannon Exits iHeartMedia DFW

• RAMP has learned that longtime iHeartMedia veteran Jay Shannon has exited as PD of Hot AC KDMX (Mix 102.9) and AC KDGE (Star 102.1) after more than a decade of service.

Shannon, who has been vested with iHeartMedia since 1992, arrived in DFW in Feb. 2014 as PD of KDMX and then-Alternative KDGE (102.1 The Edge), earning the transfer after 13 years with iHeartMedia Austin, where he programmed KHFI and KPEZ, and later rose to SVP of Programming.
