Inrush To Bertrand: ‘Howdy, Partner!’

Inrush Broadcast Services is pleased to announce the addition of Rob Bertrand as a partner in the firm, joining current partners Mike Dorris, Brian Sapp, Shaun Dolan, and Cameron Boswell in leading the 14-person firm forward.

Bertrand was most recently the technology head at American University’s WAMU/Washington, DC. Prior to his transition to public media, Bertrand was Chief Engineer for CBS Radio New York, and he started his career with Greater Media in New Jersey.

“We are excited to welcome Rob as a partner,” said Inrush founder Mike Dorris. “He is a well-known technology leader in our industry and he cares so deeply about people and the audiences we serve — he’s a perfect fit for our growing company and the stations who trust us to keep them running. We are excited to continue growing and believe that Rob will help us expand intelligently, while anchoring people and purpose as we work to improve the radio engineering landscape in the US.”

Bertrand said, “I’ve admired the reputation that Inrush has established over the past five years, and I’m impressed with their innovative approaches to systems integration and centralized support for station operations. They are an incredibly smart, energetic, and talented crew and it’s invigorating to see how they work together to recruit and develop new talent in our mature industry. I’m thrilled to support that work as we continue to expand our offerings, team, and client base.”

Bertrand will continue to live in the DC area, serve Inrush’s East Coast client base, and grow its Public Media practice. Pictured, (l-r): Mike Dorris, Shaun Dolan, Brian Sapp, Rob Bertrand, & Cameron Boswell
