Niederhauser Ready To Dial It Back

• We would like to take this opportunity to congratulate Austin-based promo icon Mark Niederhauser, who announced his impending retirement as Regional Manager, Radio, from Warner Music Nashville, effective at the end of February, closing this chapter of an amazing 46-year career!

Niederhauser was hired by Chris Stacey, Bob Reeves & Espo, after years of working Rock & Pop records at various labels. The list of artists that Mark has represented over the course of his remarkable five-decade career range from the first No. 1 he was involved with — “I Will Survive” by Gloria Gaynor (!) through Hall & Oates, Rick Springfield, Guns ‘N’ Roses, Whitesnake, Elton John, Cher, Aerosmith, Don Henley, Smokey Robinson, Bon Jovi, KISS, and on and on and on…

At WMN, Niederhauser has worked with Blake Shelton, Brett Eldredge, Hunter Hayes, Ashley McBryde, William Michael Morgan, Drew Parker, & many others.

Niederhauser notes that the current Cody Johnson single, “I’m Gonna Love You” featuring Carrie Underwood looks to be the 50th No. 1 he’s been a part of while at Warner, adding, “Cole Swindell (“Forever To Me”) will make No. 51!”

After March 3, Niederhauser can be contacted at Maconmark71@gmail.com, or the cell number that hasn’t changed since the early ’90s — 214-914-6550. News about his open position will be coming soon.
