Leipsner Named Head of Pop @ S-Curve/BMG

• Promo pro Lee Leipsner has joined S-Curve Records/BMG as Head of Pop Promotion. Leipsner notably spent 25 years with Sony Music, most recently as the EVP of Promotion at Columbia Records until a year ago. While at Columbia, Leipsner was instrumental in developing and breaking artists such as Adele, One Direction, Chainsmokers, Calvin Harris, Train and Hozier, to name a few.

In his new position with S-Curve/BMG, Leipsner will be based in New York and report to label President/Founder Steve Greenberg, who said, “Lee Leipsner is one of the smartest and most passionate people in the radio promotion field and his track record more than speaks for itself. We’ve been wanting to work with Lee for a very long time, and now we can’t wait to let him work his magic with our records at pop.”

The S-Curve Records/BMG roster includes AJR, Andy Grammer, Conkarah, Leslie Odom Jr., Netta, Magic Giant, and Elise LeGrow, among others.
