Cool To Be Kind
The staff of Cumulus Top 40 KLIF (The New Hot 93.3)/Dallas is making final preparations to launch 93 Days of Kindness — a summer-long campaign that starts Thursday, June 1 and runs through September 1, with the stated goal to spread kindness in a world that is full of so much negativity lately. Morning hosts Scotty K and Bret Mega, along with the other personalities, want to change people’s lives in the Dallas-Fort Worth Area by paying it forward with one random act of kindness each day during the campaign. The guys stated, “93 Days of Kindness is a reminder that we all have a responsibility to help change the world. We hope that the actions become habits and that we can be the inspiration behind long lasting positive change in the community.”
93 Days of Kindness launches June 1 at 10am with Scotty K and Bret Mega riding stationary bicycles for 93 hours — until Monday, June 5 at 7am — to raise funds and awareness for Genesis Women’s Shelter & Support. While fighting off chronic butt fatigue the guys will ask listeners to help them reach their goal of 93 hours and ride in their place for any amount of time with a donation to the charity. As Scotty K told RAMP, “The work we will put into 93 Days Of Kindness is only one tenth of the strength displayed by the people that need the help. We believe you must always help some when you have the opportunity, because you might be the only one that does.”
