WMMO/Orlando Inks ‘Supa Dave’ For PM/APD
• Cox Media Group (CMG) Orlando welcomes “Supa Dave” Fragale to Classic Hits 98.9 WMMO as afternoon host and Assistant Director of Programming.
Supa Dave is a 17-year Central Florida radio pro who famously spent 16 years across the street at iHeart Active Rock WJRR, and at the former WOCL (O-Rock 105.9) before that. He succeeds Jay Edwards, who is moving to mornings.
“Supa Dave brings a level of passion and local name recognition that we are truly excited to bring to the market,” said Steve Stewart, Operations Director for CMG Radio in Orlando.
“Beyond excited is definitely an understatement,” says Fragale about his new gig. “Every time I listen to a heritage station like 98.9 WMMO, it’s nostalgic. No matter what song is playing, it’s without a doubt going to transport you to a special time or place in your life. I’m honored to now be a part of that for a few hours of our listeners’ afternoons.”
In the near term, Supa Dave can be contacted at David.Fragale@cmg.com.
