John Reynolds Exits Beasley Charlotte

• Corporate downsizing has come to Beasley Charlotte, as RAMP has confirmed that John Reynolds and Beasley Media Group have parted ways. Reynolds had been serving in the multiple roles as OM of the company’s Charlotte group, PD of Top 40 WNKS (Kiss 95.1) & Country WSOC, and Corporate VP of Music & Entertainment.

Reynolds has been in the Charlotte market since 1999, when he was named PD of WNKS under then-owner CBS Radio. He made the transition to Beasley ownership in late 2014 and earned his corporate VP upgrade in Dec. 2020.

Reynolds’ earlier stops include APD/MD of Gannett-owned KHKS/Dallas, Promotions Director/on-air at the late WKTI/Milwaukee, and he got his foot in the radio door as Asst. Promotions Director at Z100/New York in 1990.

In a statement for RAMP, Reynolds said, “I am deeply grateful for the invaluable experiences and growth I’ve achieved alongside many great programmers and managers in this industry, and I’m excited to launch the next chapter in my career.” Looking ahead, Reynolds can be contacted at jrradio@earthlink.net.
