Beasley Cuts Reach Vegas
• There has been a great disturbance in the Beasley Las Vegas HQ, as RAMP has confirmed that market veteran Cat Thomas has exited as OM of the cluster and PD of Alternative KXTE (X107.5), and Hot AC KVGS (102.7 VGS) after nearly five years on the job. Also out: Amberly Quaintance, Director of Events & Partnerships, and Cluster Production Director Tate South.
It’s safe to say that Thomas (left) is well acquainted with the Las Vegas market — he notably spent 28 years with CBS Radio/Entercom Las Vegas, rising to VP of Programming for the cluster and PD of KLUC/Las Vegas for 20 years. He later spent three years with Cumulus as Vice President of Contemporary Formats until Oct. 2018. Two months later he joined Entercom St. Louis as OM/PD of KNOU (Now 96.3), Hot AC KYKY (Y98) and AC 102.5 KEZK, returning home to Las Vegas in Sept. 2020.
