iHeartMedia Realigns Its Markets Group

• Lots of moving parts as iHeartMedia restructures its Markets Group. Ann Marie Licata, who was recently named as President of Markets Group and Sales Operations starts the ball rolling by announcing that Division President John Karpinski (left) has been elevated to President, iHeartMedia Community Markets. Shosh Abromovich will report to Karpinski as Division President, and Karpinski will report to COO Markets Group Bernie Weiss.

Other major changes include the creation of a new Midwest & Southeast Division, encompassing the Carolina Majors, Pittsburgh, Nashville, Cincinnati, and St. Louis, to be led by 33-year iHeart veteran Dave Carwile as Division President.

But wait…  there’s more — Aaron Hyland has been named as Division President overseeing DC, Baltimore, Philadelphia, Boston, and Hartford. He will work closely with New York Region President Steve DeLusant to build out the Northeast Division.

And as part of this realignment, the Chicago region will move under the West & Great Lakes Division continuing to be led by Kris Foley, while iHeartMedia Atlanta will shift over into the Florida+ Division overseen by Chris Soechtig.

Concurrent with this realignment, a little rain must fall — Division Presidents Dan Lankford and DJ Hodge are leaving the company.
