The Kid Mero Wakes Up At HOT 97/New York
• MediaCo’s WQHT (HOT 97)/New York has filled its morning show vacancy with Bronx-born comedian and media personality The Kid Mero, host of the new HOT 97 Mornings With Mero, which debuts Tuesday, Jan. 13 at 6am. He succeeds Ebro In The Morning — Ebro Darden, co-hosts Peter Rosenberg & Laura Stylezand Executive Producer Jason Griffin, who exited a month ago. HOT 97 posted the announcement to social media.
The Kid Mero is a New York Times best-selling author, Writers Guild Award winner, and a Variety “Comic to Watch.” He currently hosts the podcast Victory Light with The Kid Mero and co-hosts 7PM in Brooklyn with former NBA star Carmelo Anthony.
