RAMP Leap Of The Week: Hannah Lane!

• Jackson, MI to DFW? Hell, why not! Sending our best wishes to Ms. Hannah Lane, morning co-host on Digio Strategies Country WUSJ (US 96.3)/Jackson, MS, who just got the “big call” and is packing for a major market move to Dallas, specifically to do nights on Cumulus Media’s KSCS (New Country 93.3)/Dallas-Ft. Worth.

PD Mike Preston shared the news with the staff in a memo that reads, in part, “I’m pleased to announce that Hannah Lane will be joining us at the new nighttime personality on New Country 96.3. Hannah is making the market ‘leap of the week,’ coming from US96.3 in Market 127, Jackson, Mississippi all the way to Market 4, Dallas/Fort Worth. Hannah’s addition to our team is further confirmation of our commitment to live and local radio as the Country format continues to thrive in North Texas.”

Lane, who hails from Baton Rouge, LA, broke into radio as an intern and worked her way up to the morning show as third mic, and now co-host alongside Gordo. Preston added, “Hannah has been the morning cohost on her station for the past 2 1/2 years, has been one of Radio Ink‘s ’30 Under 30’ honorees twice, and as her cluster’s full-time social media content creator, helped her station win 1st Place in the Radio Station Social Media category at the 2025 Mississippi Broadcasters Association Awards.”

We should also add that in 2024, Mentoring and Inspiring Women In Radio (MIW), in association with the Mississippi Association of Broadcasters (MAB) named Hannah as their inaugural Radio Mentee! Lane is expected to make her DFW radio debut later this month.
