RadioTraks Shutting Down After 26 Years

• RadioTraks, a longtime provider of music research services to radio stations and record labels across the United States, announced it will discontinue operations, effective May 29, 2026, unless a qualified buyer emerges to continue the business.

This news follows significant changes in the radio and recording industries and the rapid evolution of audience measurement tools. These shifts have fundamentally altered demand for traditional and online music research services, making it increasingly difficult for RadioTraks to sustain its current operations.

“This was not an easy decision,” said company founder Hal Fish. “Over the past 26 years, we’ve had the privilege of working with many of the country’s most successful radio stations and all the major record labels. I’m deeply grateful for the trust and partnership our clients have shown us, and I’m incredibly proud of the work we’ve accomplished together.”

RadioTraks will continue normal operations through May 29. During this transition period, clients will retain full access to their accounts, and radio stations may continue conducting surveys. The company is committed to a smooth wind-down and will assist clients in completing ongoing projects and preserving historical data.

Interested parties and clients with questions or requests for assistance are encouraged to contact RadioTraks via RadioTraks.com, or contact Hal Fish directly at hjfish@radiotraks.com.
