Rahal Wins Again In Indianapolis

The event was attended by fellow racing greats, including 2x Indianapolis 500 winners Al Unser, Jr., Takuma Sato, and Arie Luyendyk, former IndyCar driver and Fox Sports broadcaster Danica Patrick, Indianapolis Motor Speedway President Doug Boles, and others.
“We are honored to bring the story of Bobby Rahal to life, which is the story of a truly great American Hero,” said Borchetta. “He faced enormous challenges throughout his career but his unrelenting belief, determination, and skill, ultimately persevered.”
Country artist Danielle Bradbery, who performs the powerful end-credit composition, “Song For Trueman,” kicked off the event with a stunning rendition of the National Anthem, and Rahal was greeted by a standing ovation before the screening. After the screening, Borchetta led the audience in an intimate Q&A with Rahal.
Directed by Nate Adams, Travis Long and Borchetta, Bobby Rahal: True American Racer is produced by Borchetta through Big Machine Racing alongside executive producers Adam Carolla, Chassy Media Productions’ Mike August, FOX Sports’ Barry Nugent, Ariana Berlin and others.
The film also features a new original song, “True American Racer (500 miles) (featuring Slash),” performed by The Backbeat Troubadours — Billy Bob Thornton and Mark Collie.
