101 Music In Business With Daniels & Wilson

101 Studios announced the signing of the first two artists to their new record label, Country Road Records, a division of 101 Music — please welcome Cassidy Daniels and Channing Wilson, both of whom were Top Three Finalists from the CBS music competition show The Road, produced by Taylor Sheridan, Blake Shelton, Keith Urban and 101 Studios.

Daniels is a Nashville-based artist and songwriter who has shared the stage with icons like Willie Nelson, Florida Georgia Line, and Billy Currington. She recently released “Southern Rock,” her debut single on 101 Music, and is working on a full-length album produced by John Osborne of Brothers Osborne. She’s also set to appear in the upcoming Yellowstone spin-off, Dutton Ranch, performing multiple original songs.

• A respected Nashville songwriter who has written with artists like Luke Combs, Riley Green, and others, Wilson reached a national audience as a finalist on The Road. He recently made a musical appearance on the Yellowstone spin-off, Marshals, where he performed an acoustic version of “Gettin’ Outta My Mind” that he recorded for the show and released simultaneously. He’s also working on a full-length album produced by Dave Cobb, following up 2023’s Cobb-produced Dead Man.

“Cassidy Daniels and Channing Wilson represent exactly the kind of artists we envisioned when we launched 101 Music: authentic storytellers with voices that connect immediately with audiences,” said Jon Borris, Head of 101 Music. “We had the opportunity to watch them up close on The Road, and it was clear they were both extremely unique and immensely talented. As 101 Studios continues building a creative ecosystem across television, film, and music, we’re thrilled to welcome Cassidy and Channing as the first artists on 101 Music and, with support from our partners Thirty Tigers, bring their music to an even wider audience.”
