Texas Radio HOF Reveals Class Of ’26
• The voting members of the Texas Radio Hall of Fame (TRHOF) have selected 20 radio professionals for induction into the Class of 2026. The following broadcasters, including those in the inaugural “Small Markets/Big Voices” category, are listed in alphabetical order — Doug Abernethy • Brenda Adriance-Fox • “Lisa Lisa” Bonnani • Bruce Buchanon • Jay Creswell • Dave E. Crockett • Diane Day • Anna De Haro • Paris Eley • Jimmy “JD” Gonzalez • Jojo & Patches • Joyce King • Kevin Kline • Eric Raines • Clyde “Kooter” Roberson • Chrissie Roberts • JD Rose • Dr. J. Thomas Smith • Pam Wells • Barry Wolverton.
Jerry and Wanda Hanszen, who were recognized with the introduction of the “Small Markets/Big Voices” category at last year’s Induction ceremony, will be formally inducted during the 2026 ceremony.
In addition, five heritage broadcasters will be posthumously inducted as “Lone Star Legacies” in a category that was first introduced in 2025. In alphabetical order, those broadcasters are: David Anderson, Frank Hicks, Mona Parker, Jack Sellmeyer, and Ted Stecker.
All of the above broadcasters will be honored on Saturday, Nov. 7 at the TRHOF’s Annual Induction Ceremony at the Texas Broadcast Museum in Kilgore, TX, and will be extended the full honors, rights and privileges that accompany induction into the Texas Radio Hall of Fame.
