Change Is Inevitable With Tino Cochino

Phoenix radio veteran Perez originally joined the show in late 2020, following stints at Entercom Country KMLE and Top 40 KALV (Live 101.5). Her departure was covered in a social post that reads, in part, “Serina has been a huge part of this show and this journey for many years. We’re incredibly grateful for everything she brought to the show — her energy, her personality, her contributions and the many laughs and memories we’ve shared along the way. We genuinely wish Serina nothing but success and happiness in her future endeavors.”
In closing, the post noted, “The Tino Cochino Show is entering an exciting new era, and we can’t wait to share what’s ahead with you all.” We understand a new co-host will be named soon.
Commenting on the show’s rebranding, Tino said, “Evolution isn’t optional when you’re serious about longevity. We’ve built something incredibly successful, but I’m not interested in maintaining something simply because it’s working. I’m interested in building something even better. Complacency is expensive, and nostalgia isn’t a business strategy.
Tino added, “The reality is, we don’t create radio. We create a SHOW. Radio is one way to experience it, but it’s no longer the only way. Whether you’re listening on your morning commute, streaming a podcast, or watching our new weekly show on YouTube that debuts next week, how you choose to consume our content is entirely up to you. Our job is to create something worth your time and attention. Your job is simply to enjoy it however you want.”
In closing, Tino noted, “We’re not changing because something stopped working. We’re evolving because we understand where entertainment is going, and we have every intention of helping lead the way.”
