Ivy Thriving In Miami
• CBS Radio Rhythmic WPOW (Power 96)/Miami has elevated Ivy “Unleashed” from nights to afternoon drive. She succeeds Afrika, who departed in February. The big announcement was made by Rob Morris, VP of Programming, CBS Radio Miami, who said, “I’m thrilled to promote Ivy to the high profile position of afternoon drivetime host of Power 96. Ivy is a terrific talent, having worked in just about every daypart on Power 96 over the past 15+ years. She has a wonderful history of community service and connection with our South Florida listeners and advertisers.”
Ms. Ivy has been with Power 96 since 2002, starting out in the research department and working her way up through the ranks. Commenting on her elevation, Ivy said, “It’s hard to fathom that I started out as just a HUGE Power 96 fan and now I’m being promoted to afternoon drive on the same station! It’s a BIG dream come true for me! I’m extremely grateful and super excited about what the future holds. Watch out Miami, ‘Ivy Unleashed’ is gonna KILL IT!” Ivy will continue to host the Power 96 Public Service show, Power to the People.
• With Ivy moving up, Power 96 is now looking for its next great night talent — the ideal candidate is a pop-culture aficionado that lives and breathes the lifestyle, relates to today’s 18-34-year-old females and can create compelling content on a daily basis for on-air, online and on-site.
This person should excel on all social media platforms, including Facebook, Snapchat, Twitter, lnstagram, WordPress and more. Read up on all of the position’s qualifications and apply online via the CBS Radio Careers portal (Ref#: 27665).
