Bailey On The Loose

RAMP has confirmed that iHeartMedia Active Rock WXTB (98 Rock)/Tampa has eliminated its PD position, leaving Ty Bailey without a gig. We have also learned that the future care and feeding of 98 Rock will now fall under the purview of Rick Everett, RVP of Programming for iHeartMedia North Florida and PD of Active Rock WJRR/Orlando.

Ms. Bailey had been with 98 Rock since August 2012, when she transferred south from middays on sister WWDC (DC101)/Washington as APD, and was promoted to PD in September 2013. She had recently made the transition from mornings to middays.

Bailey’s earlier programming department experience includes a stint as APD/MD of the former WCHH (Channel 104.3)/Baltimore and PD of Galaxy’s K-Rock twins, WKRL/Syracuse and WKLL/Utica, NY. She is now actively seeking her next radio adventure and can be reached at tybaileyradio@gmail.com.
