Hill & Taylor On The Loose!
• After a seven-month stint in Denver as VP of Programming & Operations for Kroenke Sports Entertainment (KSE) Radio, Ed Hill has exited the company. Hill joined the company in May of this year and had day-to-day PD responsibility for Country KWOF (92.5 The Wolf) and had operational oversight of KXKL (Kool 105), Hot AC KIMN (Mix 100.3) and KKSE-AM (Altitude Sports Radio AM 950).
Hill previously spent four years programming CBS Radio Country KMPS/Seattle and he enjoyed an 18-year run with Citadel that included PD stops at KUBL/Salt Lake City and KATM/Modesto, CA. Hill is expected to announce his next move very soon. In the meantime, he can be reached at ed@podstars.net.
• Hubbard Radio Alternative KDKB (ALT AZ 93-3)/Phoenix has parted company with MD/midday Christy Taylor in what is being described as a budgetary move. Prior to joining ALT AZ in April of 2015, Taylor spent some time in the Twin Cities as interim New Media and Music Manager during the launch phase of GO Media Alternative KTWN (Go 96.3)/Minneapolis.
Ms. Taylor is probably best known for her lengthy stint at 91X/San Diego, where she rose from nights to the PD chair in April of 2012. Before she was hired at 91X in March of 2008, Taylor was APD/MD/midday personality at WZMR (104.9 The Edge)/Albany, NY. Taylor can be reached at christy1taylor@yahoo.com or christytime@gmail.com.
