Rush Now MD @ KCKC/KC
• There’s a newly minted Music Director gracing the hallways of Steel City Media AC KCKC (KC102.1)/Kansas City, as afternoon drive goddess Natalie Rush is now sporting fashionable and fully functional MD stripes. The move makes perfect programming sense, seeing as how Ms. Rush (the artist formerly known as Natalie Randall) programmed Scripps Top 40 KSPW (Power 96.5)/Springfield, MO prior to joining KC102.1 in April 2016.
Rush’s promotion takes some of the load off of PD Bryan Truta, who tells RAMP, “When looking to take our music and label relationships to… the next level™… we didn’t have to look much further than Natalie. Besides being dynamite on-air she is a diehard music fan, one of the most well-connected radio people within the industry, and has a proven track record of scheduling and guiding her stations to success! I’m looking forward to see where we go from here!” Natalie’s call times are Fridays from noon-2pm at 816-753-4000.
