Edward R. Murrow Awards, Awarded
• Entercom all-News KNX 1070 News Radio/Los Angeles, Southern California’s only 24-hour news and traffic station was the recipient of a National Murrow Award, presented by the Radio Television Digital News Association (RTDNA). KNX was recognized for its outstanding achievements in electronic journalism in the award’s Overall Excellence in Large Market Radio category.
“The Edward R. Murrow Awards are the most prestigious awards in radio, television and digital news and I congratulate the entire KNX team on a very well-deserved honor,” said Jeff Federman, Regional President, Entercom Southern California. “In a year like no other, KNX delivers its consumers a trusted and proven source for the vital information they rely on. • Hearst’s WBAL (NewsRadio 1090/101.5)/Baltimore was also honored with a National Edward R. Murrow Award in the category of Large Market Radio: Breaking News Coverage, for its reporting following the April 20 raid on the home of former Baltimore Mayor Catherine Pugh.

Murrow Award that WBAL NewsRadio has received since 2001.
